Job Description:
- Primary responsibility for the successful implementation of the organization's artistic plans as established by the Artistic Director;
- Producer for all mainstage productions and presentations;
- Oversee dramaturgy, casting, and audience enrichment activities for the organization;
- Participate in the management of the organization's mission, vision, strategy, and program;
- Member of Senior Staff and Artistic Team, and leads the Artistic Development Department (which includes the American Voices New Play Institute) of the organization;
- Support the development of new artistic projects and programming, in particular by leading the Playwright's Residency Program;
- Lead scouting activities of the organization;
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with other producing organizations;
- Significant experience as a producer, or artistic associate for a large professional theater;
- Passion for nurturing the development of American work;
- Track record of artistic excellence;
- Ability to foster an environment of collaboration and a culture of success;
- Fluency with all aspects of the business that impact the successful implementation of the organization's artistic agenda;
- Capacity for innovation;
- Integrity and trustworthiness;
- Solution-oriented approach to leadership;
- History of developing and maintaining relationships with the nation's best artists;
