Job Description:
Shooting high quality footage of performances and special events, still photography of school events, student life, class performances for marketing and admissions materials
Editing short and mid-length "mini movies"
Archiving video and photo assets using a sophisticated systematic approach. He/she may be responsible for conducting analysis on how to best organize our collections and manage this process
Working closely with the marketing and production departments to brainstorming ideas for marketing videos, initiatives and related content for our school's cutting edge website
The successful applicant will have a wide range of creative styles and excellent technical ability and possess the skill to translate the school's vision while adding meaningful input.
Ideal candidates will be experienced film editor and director who does their own camera work and are comfortable setting up scenes, assisting in creative development, directing, videotaping, editing and picking out clips that would make valuable online content and more.
Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred
5 + years professional work experience editing commercial quality videos/films
Solid experience working with major post-production software and hardware
Sound editing/Sound design a plus
Ability to develop successful video projects in a budget minded and efficient manor
Considerable knowledge of the uses, operations and limitations of videotape editing systems and related equipment
