Job Description:
The candidate will be primarily responsible for designing websites and brands from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have outstanding visual design skills with a strong sense of layout, color theory, typography, and style, and a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, and practical interfaces.
- 2+ years of experience as a graphic/web designer
- 1+ years of experience with interaction design
- Understanding of and experience in branding
- Strong and diverse design style
- Strong conceptual skills, including online experience concepts
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvements, and propose innovative changes to the visual design process
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to work with a large variety of clients
- Ability to take feedback from/ give feedback to team members
- Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
- Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, Flash, CSS, and AJAX
