Manager, Trade Shows and Events

Job Description:

-Assist in planning & management of company's participation in industry events such as trade shows, conferences, etc. Includes researching potential events,determining prospect attendance, seeking out speaking opportunities
-Maintain schedules and budgets for events and trade shows and support cost control. Negotiate and book venues. Arrange logistics including invitations, event registration, catering, lodging, AV, photography, booth shipment.
-Assist in content development for all event communications, including invitations, newsletters, and website.
-Lead and complete administrative tasks for events such as running reports, printing name badges, tent cards, shipping, etc.
-Experience high-profile, large events (500+ attendees) and sponsorship packages.
Experience with trade shows in the U.S.
Exceptional organizational skills.
-Enthusiastic, driven, positive, hardworking professional who can rise to the occasion in high pressure situations but are just as happy to roll up their sleeves to take care of administrative, but important event tasks, such as printing and shipping.
-Ability to work well under time constraints while keeping a positive attitude, and have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively in order to meet critical deadlines.
-Experience with event budgets, contracts for venues, logistics, agendas, catering, event registration and promotion.
