Job Description:

WWJTV, Detroit's CBS Television Station has an opening for the position of Part Time Weather / Anchor. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced on-air weather forecaster to report weather for live and/or taped cut-ins during regular programming, and fill in as needed on weekends and in our four hour morning news show. Duties will also include traffic and news reporting on a fill-in basis in the morning news program.

Primary responsibilities include the following:
- Present Weather information on-air with understanding and confidence
- Report live, on-tape and for web
- Prepare and coordinate on-air material
- Ensure that daily show production deadlines are met
- Knowledge of the WSI MAX graphics computer
- Ability to create graphics on the WSI computer
- Monitor weather conditions
- Contribute story ideas
