Job Posting Title Play by Play Sales Manager Job Description ESPN Dallas is searching for an individual to manage play-by-play programs and sellers on an integrated level on-air and on ESPNDallas.com. We are seeking a leader who can teach, motivate and elevate the performance of the staff to a high level, who is interested in achieving our true potential. Passion, energy and enthusiasm for sports, selling and business is a must. A full understanding of how to sell radio, digital and events as a multi-platform opportunity for all of our play-by-play business partners is needed.

Responsibilities Responsible for creating sales opportunities for the sales team, tracking and managing all aspects of play-by-play sales. Understanding of how to sell and integrate radio, digital and events as a multi-platform opportunity for our business partners. Ability to accurately budget and forecast revenue and expenses for all aspects of play-by-play sales. Strategic planning and vision is a must. Implement and maintain effective account and inventory management systems. Works closely with the Director of Sales, programming and promotions departments. Creatively plans and develops all sales packages and initiatives. Must have an intimate knowledge of the local marketplace, the teams and capabilities of staff. Accountable for meeting or exceeding play-by-play budgets across all platforms. Interacts with executives and managers at all levels of ESPN Audio Division on issues regarding play-by-play sales and all revenue related to that.
