--Managing public relations accounts for clients in business, media, entertainment and consumer-facing industries
--Pitching stories and developing the written materials (press releases, pitches, talking points, etc) required to do so effectively
--Relationship-building with clients and the media
--Developing client proposals, preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings
--Expansive understanding of the media landscape (print, online and tv) to identify opportunities for clients
--Proven expertise at pitching stories and securing placements for clients
--Excellent writing and presentation skills
--Organizational instincts and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
--Ability to communicate results to management and interact with clients in a fast-paced environment
