Job Description:
NYC award-winning PR agency is seeking an energetic SAE/Account Supervisor to join our travel/hospitality account team.
-Provide supervision, guidance and counsel on accounts
-Skilled writer/editor/proof reader - generate compelling written materials
-Independently prepare all account documents including programs, action plans and timelines
-Maintain key relationships with media, industry
-Pro-active story placement in all media includes generating story ideas and pitching them to target media
-Oversee budget and expenses for accounts
-Supervise and mentor junior staff
-Contribute to quality controls within agency
-Marketing and strategy development
Minimum of 3+ yrs in lifestyle and travel PR agency experience.
Media-savvy candidate must be highly-motivated self-starter, have an A-list placement track record, strong media contacts (broadcast, print, online), excellent writing skills, and a strategic and creative mind.
Candidates must have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the hospitality/travel industry and social media.
Successful candidate must demonstrate sense of urgency and passion, and have the ability to develop strategy and craft pitches and press materials.
Must have PR agency experience.
