Job Summary:
Position Summary
We are looking for a collaborative and creative team player who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent, and passion for great storytelling and filmmaking that define Lucasfilm.
Reporting to Lucasfilm VP, Marketing & Franchise Creative and based in Burbank, this role will support the VP with executive assistance, project coordination of AV across multiple lines of business and departments; including but not limited to theatrical marketing, Disney+ marketing, home-entertainment, parks, partnership campaigns, consumer products, internal presentations and ad hoc projects. This role will also work in conjunction with Lucasfilm Video Production to assist with any of their needs in relation to the VP, Marketing & Franchise Creative and projects outside of LVP.
This role is considered Hybrid, which means the employee will work onsite at our Burbank office and occasionally from home.
What you'll do
• Maintain current project status/deliverables across LFL franchise AV projects in conjunction with LVP.
• Support VP in tracking key project deadlines; develop a thorough understanding of necessary checkpoints (assets needed for projects, rough cut due dates, creative reviews, deliveries) to see project through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project timelines with vendors working on AV projects outside of LVP to ensure key project deadlines are met and communicate updates to VP.
• Assist with asset support as needed for projects (providing music, approved marketing materials, graphics, etc.)
• Track and follow up on all outstanding needs prior to delivery and confirm final delivery.
• Manage Zendesk submission and requests as needed.
• Develop strong knowledge of AV materials available across our lines of business to assist in requests for upcoming presentations and events.
• Participate in key conference calls and brainstorms and provide recaps and follow-up items as necessary.
• Manage and support special projects as needed.
• Responsible for handling VP's expense reports as well as departmental P-card purchases.
• Responsible for booking VP's travel.
• Responsible for scheduling Marketing & Franchise Creative team meetings.
What we're looking for
• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• 1-3 years experience in AV/post-production and Executive Administrative experience preferred
• Knowledge of technical specs as it pertains to production and post-production a necessity
• Appreciation, understanding and respect for the Star Wars franchise
• Highly organized and able to prioritize large volume of projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be adaptable and flexible to shifting priorities and needs of our different lines of business
• Exceptional work ethic, strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment with often conflicting priorities
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized and have the ability to follow-up often in a friendly and courteous manner
• Must be resourceful and able to troubleshoot with little to minimal direction
• Strong computer skills especially with Google applications as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience in booking travel and handling expenses and familiar with using Concur system
The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $48,224.00 - $60,279.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
