Job Description
The General Producer will play a pivotal role in curating and producing entertainment content, with a specific focus on musical guests, artist interviews, and related segments.
Job Duties:
• Supervising and guiding the production team to ensure the creative, timely, and high-quality production of entertainment content.
• Planning and executing interviews with musical guests and artists, including those from New York, México, and Los Angeles bureaus.
• Collaborating with talent agencies, artists' representatives, and other stakeholders to secure interviews, performances, and exclusive content.
• Managing a team of producers and reporters dedicated to generating engaging entertainment content.
• Developing and implementing strategies to enhance entertainment programming and audience engagement.
• Overseeing the production process from concept development to post-production, ensuring alignment with quality standards and deadlines.
• Working closely with the Executive Producer to coordinate initiatives and align content with organizational objectives.
• Selecting music and/or creating music montages to enhance entertainment projects.
• Ensuring accuracy of credits and disclaimers for all entertainment content.
• Adhering to technical guidelines, operations procedures, and safety regulations.
• Providing leadership, direction, and support to the production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Completing any other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support the overall production process.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a General Producer or similar role in entertainment production.
• Bachelor's degree in arts, Communication, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Previous experience managing a team of producers and reporters.

Additional Requirements:
• This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
• Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production environment.
• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
